Insurance Information No. (227)

On the occasion of Mother's Day, which falls on March 21, I present to the Social Security Institution a number of proposals, as follows:

1) Implementing a massive awareness media campaign in which all Social Security cadres participate, lasting for three full months to encourage housewives who are dedicated to their families to participate in the optional Social Security, and for the campaign to target the inclusion of at least (20) thousand housewives, and for the institution to honor the first (12) participants, at a rate of one participant from each governorate, meaning the first participant from each governorate within the framework of this campaign.

2) Honoring the first woman to whom an old-age retirement pension was allocated (“fifty-five-year-old retirement”) after completing at least (420) social security contributions, whether she is still alive or deceased.

3) Honoring the oldest active insured person currently, i.e. the one with the longest subscription. If there is more than one, the one who joined the work the oldest will be chosen. If there is more than one, the oldest will be chosen. If there is more than one, the choice will be made among them by lottery.

4) Honoring the first “insured” woman to receive maternity leave allowance from each of the main economic sectors classified by the Social Security Corporation (the first insured woman from each sector).

5) Honoring the oldest employee appointed to the Social Security Corporation (the holder of the oldest job number in the Corporation), and honoring the longest-serving employee in the Corporation throughout its history, whether current or former.

I am putting these proposals before my colleagues at the Social Security Institution, for their consideration, or some of them. If time does not permit their implementation to coincide directly with Mother's Day, it can be done within two weeks of the occasion.
