An independent Jordanian civil society organization concerned with labor affairs and promoting fairness in labor relations through monitoring, research, providing legal advice, supporting social dialogue, and working towards fair and comprehensive policies and legislation that protect all categories of workers.

Vision
A working society that enjoys justice, dignity, and a decent and safe working environment for all workers, in which rights are protected, freedoms are respected, and work is a means of human advancement, achieving social justice, reducing poverty, and contributing effectively to sustainable economic and social development.

The Workers' House works to promote labor rights through research, monitoring, awareness-raising, legal support, and the development of policies and legislation to ensure a fair and safe work environment, with a special focus on protecting the most vulnerable groups.

Our Commitment as a Fairwork Supporter
Platform work provides essential income and opportunities to millions of people worldwide. However, most platform workers are not protected by existing labour law or collective bodies, leaving them exposed to low pay, precarity, and poor or unsafe working conditions
Therefore, the Jordan Labour Rights Centre “Workers’ House” has decided to join as a Fairwork Supporter, contributing to a fairer future of work in the digital platform economy. The Fairwork project evaluates digital platforms against five principles of fair work: fair pay, fair conditions, fair contracts, fair management, and fair representation
Workers’ House fully supports these principles.With this commitment, we also encourage other organisations to join us and Fairwork in building a more just and inclusive future of work in the platform economy
